Check This Out: Audacious first trailer for Knife+Heart

Ever since it’s premiered at festivals, I’ve heard nothing but amazing things for the queer giallo-esqe Knife+Heart, comparing it to 70s-era Argento and De Palma.

Set during the summer of 1979, in Paris, Knife+Heart is about Anne, a producer of third-rate gay porn. After her editor and lover Lois leaves her, she tries to win her back by shooting her most ambitious film yet with her trusted sidekick Archibald. But one of her actors is brutally murdered and Anne gets caught up in a strange investigation that turns her life upside-down.

What’s more? It’s shot on 35mm and features a killer score by M83!!

Writers, both queer and straight, have been singing its praises for awhile now. I’ll definitely reviewing it as we get closer to its release. In the meantime, take a look at this audacious and NSFW trailer and beautiful poster.
